‘Tidy’ gardens are being replaced with ‘wilder’ ones. More people are leaving parts of their gardens untouched to encourage pollinators, hedgehogs, and birds. Wildflower meadows, bee hotels, and log piles are becoming landscape features in their own right, driven by both aesthetics and an urge to support local ecosystems.
