Modern Garden with Patio, Paving, Composite Decking, Pergola and Artificial Grass
BRIEF
The existing garden was dull, uninviting and un-inspiring. We wanted something with a modern look, low maintenance, some specific features and places for us to enjoy our outdoor space
DESIGN
The design was created by Dominic at My Virtual Garden Design. His designs use lots of computer generated images, elevations and are really suited to creating a modern look. The design originally included replacement of the fence with composite material, but budget constraints meant we improved our existing fence and used strategically placed Pleached Photinia Trees to provide privacy. The images on this page showcase Dom’s design work.
Paved areas are laid with Bradstone Pauta porcelain paving in Silver Grey and edged with Bradstone granite setts. The circular decking is constructed with Millboard Enhanced Grain composite decking in Brushed Basalt. The bespoke pergola and screen were constructed in softwood and finished with woodstain to match the boundary fence. Pleached Photinia ‘Red Robin’ provide screening on the boundary.

The designer used 3D style drawing to give the client a more immersive view of the garden with the innovative use of lighting showing how the space can be used both in the day and night.
