Landscape & Garden Maintenance Staff
Bosworth’s Landscapes are currently looking for Landscape and Garden Maintenance staff, to help
with the ongoing growth of the business.
We are a well established, award-winning Domestic Landscape company producing top-end
design-build projects along with Garden Maintenance in Northamptonshire and surrounding counties.
The Job will be based at Bosworth’s Garden Centre in Burton Latimer.
Basic Gardening experience is preferred, but not essential
Valid UK Driving Licence essential
Ability to work within a team of 2-3 people, to complete projects efficiently and on time
A ‘can do’ attitude, and a willingness to learn and produce quality work are essential
A positive attitude towards colleagues and customers with good communication skills
To be able to work tidily and efficiently at all times
The ability to work with a wide range of products to create inspiring gardens
The Garden Maintenance roles involve carrying out maintenance and small garden projects to
mainly Domestic clients
The ability to carry out some Commercial work will be required
Although not essential initially, the ability to use small garden machinery such as
Lawnmowers, strimmers and hedge cutters would be beneficial. Training will be given
Commercial maintenance will involve the use of larger machinery such as Ride on Mowers
Soft landscaping – Planting and Turfing – will be carried out by the Garden Maintenance
teams, this will be to both Domestic properties and small residential developments.
Work will include clearing and tidying overgrown gardens, maintenance of existing gardens,
laying turf and planting plants, erecting and repairing fences and completing small paving,
decking and similar garden projects
We aim to work in properties with large or intricate gardens, so the ability to work to a high
standard is essential
Training options will be available to keen and motivated staff.
Salary and Hours
We operate a flexible working week throughout the year to cope with the seasonality of the work. 45
hours per week are worked in Spring and early Summer, 42.5 in Late Summer and Autumn, and 40
during the winter, all staff start at 7:30 and this equates to an average 42.5 hour week throughout the
